Chedeng, Dodong and Egay

The typhoon slowed our lives down last week and it comes with more of the positives. We were able to spend more time at home with our families, friends and were able to do some of the things we've been promising ourselves for a long time. As for me I was able to visit Bulacan for my Emergency Retreat. I could have named it instant getaway but I think I am needing more of a retreat. I've been on a fast track in one aspect of my life and it has been dragging my other concerns very badly. Thank God for the floods; classes were suspended (buti na lang kasali ang teachers sa walang pasok). I believe I'm doing good now. Here's one thing I've learned: make sure you carry what you need.

On the other hand I still can't get my thoughts organize on the things I wish to post so I tried reading others blogs and here's something I got out there.

No Classes

No classes and Class suspension has been my favorite news titles for the week; Being a once-a-week subject, it's just hard to adjust to the lessons if you miss a day and so, it's better to miss the whole week and start from zero. The First Quarter ended with a storm and it's how the Second Quarter started. The children's interaction with Clifford doesn't seem so fun neither the story-telling time. Or maybe I am just so busy thinking about sonething else that I was not able to appreciate them.

Last Tuesday I was able to conduct the Pledge Initiation and we have formally started the Leadership Development Phase of our Pledges. The next thing I should be bothered about is the venue for their Alpha Day. Aside from this I should be very bothered about my classes. I still can't figure out how to make the software work and how to work with my assignments. It's a group work, but should I leave it to them? Of course not, I wish to learn from this course and who knows, I might consider shifting to another field? joke lang hehehehehe. Hindi pa kaya ng utak ko 'to.

Nothing much to do for today; there are no classes on Monday and I am half done for my Friday classes. So I'm spending my day with online tutorials to upgrade my skills and at least go for the extra mile. I am also waiting for a friend to go online to have a little chat and maybe plan to meet in the coming days. Tomorrow is our off from the training and next week will be our final day at Makro. I am not doing any preparations yet, maybe next week. So, 'til next time.

Clifford visits school

***

My workstation sentinels: more than meets the eye.

The internet connection is very unstable today, maybe because of the typhoon. Coming to the office is very challenging also, going around narrow streets to avoid the floods and running in zigzag to avoid the rain (as if I could dodge them). There's nothing much to do here in the office and nothing to prepare for Friday, since I have no classes this Friday because of the TGIF thing in school. So I just spend my day reading about Malaysia for my presentation this Saturday. For sure Saturday will be a tough one for me, the Recognition anniversary of the Chapter will be celebrated on Saturday and that means I should be there at the tambayan to welcome and entertain our visitors. There's still a lot inside my head today but I can't get them organized maybe I should post it in my other blog...

...

Nagising akong bigla, nainip at nasabik.

Still as of this writing my assignment is still not final, I still need to make the conclusions and verify if I did the right computations. Honestly I am enjoying studying statistics but afraid at the same time that it might divert my focus to another new horizon. Baka kasi bigla ko maisipang maging Researcher o Statistician. Dito na lang. I still need to finish my assignment, sayang naman na highest ako dun sa quiz namin last week (",)
