A Real Fire Drill

We conducted two fire drills today: one in the morning session and one in the afternoon. This is very different from what I always practice everyday. The drill went well but on our way back to our classrooms one of my students fell from the stairs and got her both shins scrapped. With a flash i checked her position to see if there could be fracture of what then upon confirming from her that she's okay, I got her up and carried her to the clinic. I was trying to look for some little adventure in the clinic but I guess the school nurse can do all the rest.

Manila! I'm back!

PSG at rest: h.e. gma just left bohol, they're waiting for theit flight back to manila

It's been a tiring week in Bohol, but at least I enjoyed my last day there.
There have too many classic humors that were staged during my entire stay from teachers singing a different version of tong tong pakitong kitong to their first experience using the computer.
On Saturday, we toured Bohol starting at Km 0 reaching Km 60 then 90 then going down again to 60 and rising up to Km 200. We trail almost the whole of Southwest Bohol: counting only up to three tarsiers in the Sagbayan Peak; loosing my count with the chocolate hills; eating with my eyes in the floating restaurant in Loboc; keeping silent in Baclayon church and; adjusting my eyes inside the dark cave in Panglao.

Every Teachers Dream

I attended the flag ceremony this morning and I got the chance to chat with my former teacher in cellular and molecular biology. She knows that she frequently sees me in the campus so she asked if I'm already part of the school. Things suddenly rekindled inside me, it awaken my dream to teach my school. I have been part of PLM for two years now although I'm in a volunteer status serving in the CWTS. Teaching in my high school also rekindled but I supressed myself knowing what the reply of my parish priest would be. But inside me I know this dream is still burning in my heart.

Pentecost

The Archdiocese of Manila celebrated the Pentecost yesterday upto 1:30 am this morning. It is concluded with the celebation of the Eucharist which made me one of the luckiest altar servers to serve the Cardinal in a Pontifical Mass. Too bad I forgot to bring along a cam to have a pic with H.E.
