Why a trademark?

The lead guy always took a team picture before heading for an expedition. So I decided to have the same pose on every climb. Most climbers have their signature pose: by the breaking sun; at the summit; at the jump off; with a hand gesture; or with the same shirt, and to most of them they call it trademark. It goes for almost the same reasons—a sense of self-fulfillment, belongingness, a personalized world, pride.
