I finally reached home

After waiting for almost an hour for a ride, I spent another hour sitting in the middle of the traffic. I could have walk but preferred to take some naps and wish for the traffic to be better. But it didn't. I forced myself to get on my feet and trail my way home but I was surprised to see all the streets are flooded. Oh no!Soon I am zigzaging the streets of Sampaloc; starting from Welcome rotonda>EspaƱa>Blumentritt>Maceda>I turned right at Kundiman wishing someone would offer me a dry place>Florentino>Miguellin>Marzan>Piy Margal>Dapitan>M. Dela Fuente>I have crisscrossed and got stock on these streets all at the same time to keep my feet dry. How I wish I took a different route from Cubao, how I wish I could have visited the Chapter, at least I have someone to go home with and something else to do instead of racing with the other adventure seekers in the flood. After almost three hours of contemplating and enjoying the rain, the flood and the adventure, I got lucky enough to convince a pedicab driver to take me as far as he can where there's no more flood. I was able to reach Laong Laan. Whoa! That's just one block away. But anyway there's a very heavy traffic there and everyone is walking to and from all directions. This time the he's (the driver) the one who convinced me: "hanggang dito na lang po, wala na pong baha sa banda dun". Are you sure? Hehehe... As I got my feet on the sidewalk I could smell another set of adventure. I thanked manong for doing me the favor and started with my walk. The feel of the cold air rushing makes me go back to my pledgeship: I often spend late nights out during that time. Then after another set of weird and rude thoughts that came running through my mind, I finally reached Lacson. I cheered as I see the streets instead of flood, I started to run and wish to be home in a couple of minutes. I sent an SMS home: 10 minutes. And I did it fifteen minutes before midnight I finally reached home.
