CQ CQ any station on monitor CQ CQ

Am I really convinced to have my vhf shack? A really weird question to ask. I've been a licensed ham for four years now and up to now I still hanging with the question of "is it time for me to put up my station?" I already got all I need but I am missing one important factor, and that is "will". I've been fascinated about radios since high school but too afraid that it might keep me grounded at home.
