Talk Number 9

I attended talk 9 last night I am not sure what made me get there, since I never really committed myself to it. It’s like somebody whispered to me that it’s a Thursday and I that should be helping in the conduct of the CLP. You know, I’ve been part of Singles for Christ for five months now which I gained by technicalities, since I graduated the CLP I am an automatic member of the community. I volunteered myself to undergo the CLP last September to have at least a group of Catholics whom I could interact with about catechism. For I’ve been being exposed to protestant ways in my school assignment where I also attend a small group Bible study. Going back to last night’s experience, it revives all the high feeling about serving in this community, I suddenly felt that I wish to attend next Thursday’s CLP, that I should visit the Baseco Compound this coming Sunday and the Sundays to come, that I host a household in my place for my small group and that I stay active in this community. This coming Sunday I am being invited to join the kids from Baseco in Marikina. I don’t know if I could make it yet but maybe there’ll be again somebody to pull me out of my bed to make it to that activity…
